FOCUS Internship Program

FOCUS ProgramWe developed the FOCUS Internship Program to offer mentoring, specialized training, and an in-depth introduction into public accounting for students in the industry. Our professionals work side-by-side with our Interns to give them real-world experience. You will work with clients, receive continuing education, and really learn what it's like to work in public accounting.

Scheffel Boyle's award-winning firm culture is all about teamwork. Our Interns undergo a mentor program and regular training from employees of all levels. Our Principals, Managers, and Supervisors enjoy teaching our Interns the ins and outs of tax season and walking them through complex financial issues for our clients.

Our team values education and professional growth, so we will work around your class schedule to ensure you have every opportunity to continue your education while you enroll in the FOCUS Program. Our eight offices throughout Southern Illinois also make it possible to request a location that's most convenient for you. We do everything we can to make sure our Interns receive valuable training while completing their education.

FOCUS usually runs from January through April of each year, as it is mainly a tax season internship for students interested in a future in public accounting. You can apply today through our online submission form or email careers@scheffelboyle.com to be considered for the upcoming season.
